I began this crazy airplane stuff when my lovely wife bought me a couple of flying lessons in 1997. I received my license in 1998 and immediately bought a 1979 Cessna Cardinal RG, which I dearly loved and flew it everywhere. Wonderful plane, and it’s still going strong with its current owners.
Shortly after getting the Cardinal, I also bought an RV-8A kit to pursue my love of building things as well. I ended up selling it a few years later as I never had any time to work on it. That plane was completed and is now flying out of Peachtree, Georgia.
When work and family time permitted I purchased another kit, which I have nipped away at over the years and is documented in the following pages
